Dear Bismarck Students, Families and Community,
It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the new Principal of Bismarck Middle School. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the students and families.
I have been dedicated to the field of education for twenty years. I have worked with students ranging in age from kindergarten through high school in a variety of roles. I have been a bilingual education teacher, an elementary Reading and Math teacher, Middle School teacher, a soccer Coach, a Middle School Assistant Principal, a High School Assistant Principal, and a Middle School Principal. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Bismarck Middle School and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
On a personal note, my family and I have lived in the Dallas-Ft Worth area for over 20 years. My parents are retired and live in Amity. My daughter is about to start 6th grade and will be attending the campus where my wife works in Hot Springs.
I am a big believer in growth-mindset and I view education as a life-long process and expect that I will continue to learn much about the uniqueness of Bismarck this year and in the years to come. I am excited to unite my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centered approach to support our students. I am very passionate about providing equitable learning opportunities to all students and ensuring all students receive quality instruction. I hope to build positive relationships and support the amazing Bismarck faculty and staff.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
Mr. Miguel Del Toro
