I strongly believe that parental involvement is an essential component to student success.  Please feel free to call or email me."

Welcome Back!

I want to officially welcome all of you to the 2018-2019 School Year! For those of you who are new to our school, I want you to know that you are coming to an awesome place.

We have been busy this summer preparing for the upcoming school year. Mr. Lee and his staff have cleaned the rooms and polished the floors. The school sparkles and shines! The teachers have been planning lessons, attending workshops, preparing their classrooms and sharing stories about their summer vacations. We can’t wait to hear about yours!

Parents and students can stay informed about all things BMS by subscribing to E-Notes, a one-way text messaging service. To join visit our website page or call our office. Facebook users can also join the Official Bismarck Middle School Group.

As in the past, the daily start time at the middle school will begin at 7:50 AM and conclude at 3:15 PM. In the interest of safety, please do not drop off your children before 7:30 AM, as there is no supervision before that time.

I encourage you to attend our annual Open House on Thursday, August 9 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Fifth-grade students have a specific open house schedule attached to this letter.  Students will receive updated class schedules, locker assignments and parents will gain information about our school year.

I believe that building strong relationships between home and school is a key factor in increasing student achievement. As principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input. I strongly believe that parental involvement is an essential component to student success.  Please feel free to call or email me.

I look forward to seeing all our students on our first day of school, Tuesday, August 14.  On behalf of Bismarck Middle School staff, welcome to a new school year!  We are excited about all of the positive things this year will hold.  We can’t wait to see you!
