Virtual School  - Students

Students must have Internet access that is usable with a chrome book and/or computer. 

How will classes work? 

1. The classroom teacher will upload a video daily onto Google Classroom (GC) by 3:30 pm. Video will contain class instructions and can be viewed at any time. 

2. Once a week Google Meet Classes: 

Classroom Teachers will visit one time weekly with Virtual students via Google Meet. Students must log on to Google Meet during that class time.  Subjects below refer to grade levels 9th - 12th.  Example:  If you have 9th English or 12th grade English students will need to log on during 3rd period. 

*Choir, PE/Health, Athletics, Band or ASU CTE will be on-site instruction. 

Period Times: 

1st period  - 7:55 - 8:45

2nd period - 8:50 - 9:40

3rd period - 9:45 - 10:35

4th period - 10:40 - 11:30

5th period - 11:35 - 12:25

6th period - 1:00 - 1:50

8th period - 2:30 - 3:20

Assignments: 

Teachers will post classroom assignments daily on GC.  Some assignments may be multi-day assignments, but teachers will still check in daily with a GC post/update.

Attendance

Attendance form will be submitted daily to Google Classroom.  This form will come from cindy.bubulka@bsd-lions.net.  Students will sign in daily on Google form at 7:55 a.m.  They will be Tardy after 8:00 and absent after 8:10 am.  If you clock in at a later time, you will be counted absent for each period prior to the time you check-in. 

If the Internet is down, students must call into the office prior to 8:30 am. 

Attendance will also be taken during teachers weekly Google Meet meetings.   If no assignments are turned in for a 2 week period, names will be submitted to Mr. Chambers for further action.
