MARCH 22, 2020
We want to be proactive in letting you know the plan for the week after Spring Break.
Due to the need for Social Distancing, the Elementary office will not be open to the public even though we may be working. We are dedicated to the continued education of our students and are encouraged that the following plan will be helpful to our families and especially our students.
Packets for AMI days 1-10 information:
Students already have their packets for the week of March 16-20 &
March 30-April 3, (AMI days 1-10). These completed packets may be submitted inside the Elementary foyer Tuesday, March 31 & Wednesday, April 1 or the following week. Please look for the correct basket to place your packet. The student name and grade level should be written on the outside of the envelope.
Packet for week of April 6-10 information/AMI days 11-15:
Wednesday evening, April 1 at 5:00 pm AMI days 11-15 will be available and placed in the foyer for all grade levels. The school building is locked but you will be able to enter the foyer to pick up your packet any time of the day or night. The foyer and school grounds are camera protected.
A private Facebook page is being created for each grade level, K through 4. You will be notified when it is time to join. This FB page will be used for video teaching purposes. Each day teachers will post daily lessons that correlate with the packet you picked up. These video lessons will be short but we hope they will assist with student understanding.
This packet may be brought to the Elementary foyer and submitted April 10 through April 13. Look for the correct basket to submit.
Information concerning April 13 through 17 will be announced later.
All of us at Bismarck Elementary miss our kids and can’t wait to see them again. We want to create a plan that will help our parents while students are at home and working on their lessons. Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or me. My email address is below. We are always available to you.
Thank you for all your support,
Lana Hughes, Bismarck Elementary Principal
