The Heat Advisory is no longer in effect. * EVENT...Hot and humid conditions will continue today and Wednesday. * AREAS AFFECTED...Much of Arkansas. * TEMPERATURE...Highs will be in the 90s, with heat index values from 100 to 110 degrees. Heat indices are expected to exceed 110 degrees in many locations Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Hot weather will increase the risk of heat related illness, including heat exhaustion and heat stroke. The very young, the elderly, and those without access to air conditioning will be especially vulnerable.
