Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Program |
|
Once again this year, Bismarck Elementary School has been awarded the “Arkansas Fresh Fruit & Vegetable” grant. The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program provides funding for purchasing a wide variety of healthy fresh fruits and vegetables for students in selected elementary schools. These fruits and vegetables are enjoyed at least twice a week, during our afternoon nutritional break. Some of the wonderful things enjoyed by our students include squash, bananas, star fruit and cucumbers. More information about this program can be found at the following links: |
